Graduate of Florida State College of Law in 1986.
Assistant State Attorney for approximately four (4) years at the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Bartow. Prosecuted various felony cases and had approximately 50 jury trials. I have had extensive experience in the courtroom, and had hundreds of trials before the Court.
Since opening my own firm in 1992, I have practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law.
Member of the Lakeland Bar Association; Polk County Trial Lawyers Association; and a charter member of the Willson American Inn of Courts (which is by invitation only); Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Florida Bar.
Certified Mediator in Family Law, Certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
Present/past volunteer or Board of Director with various community agencies, including United Way of Central Florida, Junior League of Greater Lakeland, Habitat for Humanity, SPCA Florida, the Guardian Ad Litem Program and Kiwanis.
Graduate of Leadership Lakeland, Class 27.

Divorce
Divorce involves the legal termination of a valid marriage. The divorce process involves numerous procedural steps, legal requirements, and strategic considerations. As the saying goes, it is generally far easier to get married than to get divorced.
Divorce can be extremely emotional and so it is the goal of Ramona L. Blankinship, P.A. to make the process as painless as possible for their clients.
Guardianship
Families may need to provide for loved ones who are unable to take care of themselves due to illness, age or any other reasons. Guardianship allows you to make those important life decisions for your loved ones whom can not do so on their own.
